Discover Cologne : The Canton,
Municipalities
The Canton, 13 municipalities, 3,300
inhabitants
The area includes the municipalities of the canton of Ardizas of
Catonvielle, Cologne, Encausse Monbrun, Roquelaure Saint Aubin,
Saint Anne, Saint-Cricq, of St. George, St. Germier, of Sirach,
of Thoux and Touget.
In the limit of Lomagne, stone country and Gascogne in Toulouse,
country brick, Township Cologne in its architecture combines
these two materials at the heart of a typical Gascon landscape:
green and hilly wish. This is the land of wide open spaces that
invite you to explore on foot, cycling or riding a protected
environment at 50 kilometers from Toulouse.
The "bastide" (XIII century the new town is one of the most
beautiful South West: Planning orthogonal, central place to
restored homes, Hall XIV century church and treasure. Cologne
and the surrounding region send you an invitation to leisure
"relay Bourdette "and the recreation center and water sports of
Lake Saint-Thoux Cricq.
Tasting a foie gras or duck, a confit of duck or dishes flavored
with garlic white Lomagne you talk about the warmth of the
welcome to country colognais.
A territory in the heart of the Pays
Portes de Gascogne
159 municipalities and communities in
nine municipalities of Eastern Department of the Gers in 2003
chose to come together and create the association Pays Portes de
Gascogne.
All actions of the Pays are conducted in consultation with civil
society, elected officials and institutions in a sustainable
development approach.
Located near the first pole and the European aviation Toulouse
area in full extension, this territory is facing an important
arrival of new populations.
To support this trend, Europe has assigned a LEADER + program
which enables it to support projects on the theme of welcoming
new players and local businesses. All actions of the Pays are
conducted in consultation with civil society, elected officials
and institutions in a sustainable development approach.

Community Commons Bastides Lomagne
It includes three
of municipalities. Terride-Arcadèche (canton Cologne),
Val d'Bastides Arrats (canton of Mauvezin), and Heart of
Lomagne (canton of St Clar) so 41 municipalities (10 800
inhabitants). |
